Can I advertise in the Family Information Booklet?
Anybody can advertise in the Family Information Booklet if you are relevant to either children under 13 or their siblings and Parents. We especially welcome anybody who does anything for Children to do, Partytime, Education, Dance, Childcare. We also are looking for people to advertise anything for Parents to do, Beauty, Diet and Healthy Eating, Party Planners ie Avon or any tradesperson that might have a business relevant to Parents eg Plumbing etc. We do not accept adverts from any 'adult or xxx Business' We do however accept adverts for Ann Summers as long as certain things are not mentioned.
Where are the booklets distributed?
Booklets are distributed predominantly through Primary Schools and Pre-schools where they are taken home directly to their parents in their book bags. Here at the Family Information Booklet we find that this is a very effective way of getting the information (and your adverts!) to the Parents. After much research I have found that Parents do spend a lot of money entertaining their children! We also distribute in some areas to Libraries, Toddler Groups and Health Clinics. The booklets are then kept for 6 months. The booklet is very easy to read and has season specific information.
Why Advertise with The Family Information Booklet?
Here at the Family Information Booklet we believe in truely Local advertising. Why pay out huge rates to advertise to a lot of people, when with the Family Information Booklet you can advertise just in the area you need to. If however you do need to cover a larger area then the following series discounts apply:
- 2 booklets 10% discount
- 3 booklets 20% discount
- 7 booklets 30% discount
- 10 or more booklets 50% discount.
This means you can advertise to 25000 parents for just £125.00. The Family Information Booklet is kept for 6 months as a reference, we contain information about a lot of things to do, not just the people that have paid for advert with us, this means the Parents are more likely to keep the booklet for the full 6 months, even beyond. I have spoken to people who still have one of my 2004 editions !!!

What formats are preferred?
We accept adverts in lots of formats Tiff, Gif, Jpg, EPS, PDF are preferred. We also accept Word Documents and Publisher Files(we would prefer a hard copy with this for comparasion purposes). You can email your advert here.
